Economic Key Indicators
These two widgets give a quick, auto-updating snapshot of headline macro and market stats. They’re read-only (no login needed), so you can scan the numbers at a glance before digging into the charts below. If a metric links out, it opens the source page in a new tab for more context.
The following multi-line chart tracks U.S. inflation (CPI, YoY %), nonfarm payrolls (YoY %), the unemployment rate (%), and nonfarm business hours (YoY %) on one view. Use the legend to toggle lines, then hover to see exact values; zoom the range to compare month-to-month vs multi-year trends. Together, these series show price pressure (CPI) alongside labor-market strength/softness.
This chart plots the Federal Funds Effective Rate, SOFR, Interest on Reserve Balances (IORB), and the FOMC target range (upper/lower bands). The effective fed funds rate typically trades inside the target band; SOFR is a market-based overnight rate, and IORB is an administered rate the Fed pays banks—watch how they move together across policy cycles. Toggle series to focus on one rate, and use the range buttons (1Y/5Y/Max) to zoom.
This interactive map shows the unemployment rate —the percent of the labor force that’s unemployed and seeking work. Local rates can be noisier than national figures; use the zoom to see recent momentum.
